The gardens of Trauttmansdorff Castle

Trauttmansdorff Castle, the former holiday residence of the empress Elisabeth of Austria, is surrounded by flourishing gardens. Stroll through the varied garden landscape spread over twelve hectares. The castle itself is home to the Touriseum, South Tyrol’s Museum of Tourism.

Fruit-growing museum in Lana

With 18,500 hectares, South Tyrol is the largest connected fruit-growing area in Europe. Six billion apples are produced here year after year. Lana is the largest and at the same time one of the oldest fruit-growing communities in the country and therefore predestined for a museum presentation of the topic of fruit-growing.
